This was a customer that moved from Cork to London
This removal from Cork to London was to the Highgate area in fact, and, as it happens we had moved another family from the exact same street about two years earlier, and that was in the other direction, which was a removal from London to Cork! and it was memorable for the fact that it contained an expensive fitted kitchen which had a marble type worktop and was ridiculously heavy, but it did get to its Cork owners address safely and our crew survived having to move it securely, and get it indoors to Cork address without injury.
The shop in Highgate that sold the exclusive kitchen seems to have disappeared since then, but the butchers and bakers are still thriving, as shown in the photograph.
Highgate is one of those well known areas of London, particularly known of the Highgate Cemetery, with all of its famous people being buried there, not least Karl Marx of course! and the site attracts large numbers of visitors every day, even Coach Tours that have to book in advance and there is an entry fee!
