McCrorys Removals moving a customer this week from Cork to Nottinghamsire, close to the famous Sherwood Forrest area, known world wide for Robin Hood associations.
Moving from Cork to Nottinghamshire was quite a change for our customers, but a pleasant change from the bustling city of Cork to the small county town of Retford.

With the spectacular Clumber Park with its striking monumental entrance, and hosting major events throughout the year, this is just one of the attractions ot the Nottingham area.

The funfair is the present day version of what started as an Goose Fair... centuries ago.
Nottingham also is popular with overseas students with a number of world class universities including the Nottinaham University which was founded with the help of Jesse Boots, of Boots The Chemist fame.
The players family also lived in Nottingham, of Players Cigarette Company.
And also Raleigh Bicycles were at one time all exported from the Nottingham Cycle Factory.
Its understandable why so many people have moved from Ireland to Nottingham and Nottinghamshire County over the years, with so much industry including the lace factories, the skilled workers from Ireland first settled in Nottingham a long time ago.
